By Bast From setting up the Echo to using it seamlessly, this book will teach you everything you need to know about the Amazon Echo in an hour (or less, if you're a fast reader!).The Echo is a cool piece of technology from Amazon that acts as a personal assistant. You can ask it what the weather is, to tell you a joke, to set alarms/timers, or to even play music (and much much more).This book is so comprehensive about all the cool things that the Echo can do, it should have been included in the box along with the Echo! The authors even include troubleshooting tips.I recommend this book to anyone who is even considering purchasing the Echo. You cannot go wrong with this book. It's written in an easy, straightforward manner and is catered toward those of us who are not technophiles.

Adolf What I love about Tom and Jenna Edward's books is that they allow me keep up with current technology AND give me insight into whether or not a product is right for me; all for a the investment of at most, a couple of bucks.I'd been hearing things about the new Amazon Echo, and at first couldn't even figure out what it was, let alone what it does! I was excited to see the Amazon Echo User guide, because I knew it would not only satisfy my curiosity, but help me to know if the Echo would be a wise purchase for me. This is especially important to me, because I'm on a fixed income with a limited tech budget.Unlike some tech guides on the e-book market, the Amazon Echo User Guide is written in plain English, in a conversational style that makes it seem as if the authors are in the room with you, walking you through the Echo's features and capabilities. Set-up directions are presented step by step and with helpful graphics.. Each feature is explored in a similar manner, delivering on the book's promise to take you from Newbie to Expert in an hour.Best of all is the section where Tom and Jenna explore the future and potential of the Echo. Too many new electronics, in the long run, turn out to have a limited useful life. With the prices of modern technology, a buyer wants to be reassured that their investment is justified.
