They have two adorable little girls under age 6 and she was very unsure about if she was going to tell her kids and if so, exactly what she would say. I read it like it was an explanation and reading it to your kids will help them understand. But read more like explaining or talking about the child getting cancer than an explanation for it. In any event I'm not positive how it went, or if it was used. I would suggest doing more research before buying to be sure its what you want.

By Amazon Customer I think the books is very well written and explains to children about cancer. It is very meaningful when the author reads it out loud and and answers the kids' questions. Worth purchasing.
