Protecting Emilie - a must read for parents fighting custodial injustice By Kristina Clements Protecting Emilie is a an eye opening book into the struggles brought on by the failure of our court system to truly protect children who are victims of one parent alienating the child from the other parent. This book reveals how parental alienation destroys the emotional development of innocent children. You will feel a true call to action after reading the story of Emilie and see how Florida Family Law failed her so miserably. I found the book to be extremely engaging, read it in two days, and have thought about what it revealed every day since. Protecting Emilie is a must read for anyone seeking just custodial rights and finding their innocent child stuck in a drama they don't deserve.

It shines an ever growing light on a hidden epidemic in our society today. Lisa does a wonderful job laying out all the terrible, scary and all too real issues that Emi and all too many other children face when a parent alienates them from the other parent. Lisa's first hand knowledge is well captured in this book. A must read foa any parent going through a custody battle. The courts and system must wake up now before more children such as Emilie have life long issues. Thank you Lisa and well done! Tom Jones

I applaud the author's love for her step-daughter and desire not just to hope that things will be better for other children and families but also the determination to document it and bring the truth to light. Ms Heim recounts in this book a 10 year struggle with one court appearance after another that fail to protect the innocent from abuse. I really appreciate the work put in to this book and found it so intriguing and shocking I could not put it down.
