About the Author Mara Giorka was born in Cyprus. She has graduated from Democritus University of Thrace, School of Law (LLB) and she has completed LLM Commercial Law at University of Huddersfield. In 2009 she started her training as a lawyer which she completed successfully in 2010. From 2010, she is a qualified lawyer and a Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
