Have you lost control of your caseload?  Are you buried under a mountain of paperwork?  Do you have your cases in boxes, folders, and files?  There is a solution.  Imagine a product that:

  • Saves everything-Drag and drop document management of crime scene pictures, interview recordings and videos, background documents, police reports, phone records, charts, maps, diagrams, and any web page including public records databases and social media.  Anything that can be printed can be saved.
  • Automatically saves-Never lose files or notes.
  • Automatically syncs-What's documented in the field automatically updates the file back at the office.
  • Works on almost every device-Windows computers, laptops, tablets, and phones, Android phones and tablets, Chromebooks, Apple iPhones, iPads, and Macs, Blackberrys, and Kindle readers and tablets.
  • Makes documents and notes instantly searchable-Query any keyword, term, or number using a case specific search engine and search across all included cases for other matches
  • Uses free optical character recognition software-Insert printed or paper documents and make the text searchable
  • Includes audio and video recording capabilities-Record voice memos and interviews and make the content searchable.  Bookmark important statements or answers and instantly navigate to that part of the recording. No more fast forwarding or re-winding to find it.
  • Uses handwriting recognition-Don’t have a keyboard?  Integrated handwriting recognition can convert written notes to searchable text.
  • Allows users to create standardized templates for complex investigations-Easily design protocols and to-do lists for infrequent but complex cases like homicides, sexual assaults, and child abductions.
  • Integrates with email-Share meeting agendas, documents, notes, and any information from a workbook.
  • Let's lead agents and primary investigators control and share case files with co-workers or other agencies-Files can be shared with anyone with an email address.  File access can also easily be revoked.
  • Logs file changes-Automatically tracks who adds or changes a file or any of the contents in a file.
  • Limits access to sensitive information-Password protect sensitive or personal sections or information while allowing access to other types of data.
  • Didn't cost you or your agency a dime.

The solution is Microsoft's OneNote.  It is an incredible case management tool for all types of cases such as narcotics, homicide, sexual assault, child abuse, and any other investigation where managing documents and information can be a challenge.  Best of all, it is already sitting on your computer.  If you or your agency uses Microsoft Office, then the solution is already installed.  It just waiting for you to learn how to use it.

“I work organized crime and complex gang cases.  Managing these investigations is difficult because of the number of suspects, associates, and witnesses involved.  It’s easy to miss an important name, address, or phone number because it is lost somewhere in a file.  OneNote makes it easy to manage complex cases and share information with other investigators.  I wish I had known about it years ago.”  -Special Agent, California Department of Justice

“OneNote is a huge time saver and lets me stay organized and manage multiple cases without having stacks of paper files on my desk and boxes piled in my office.  Learning how to use OneNote is not difficult but Conquering Cases shortens the learning curve to an hour or two.”  -Detective, Hayward (CA) Police Department

Stop wasting time looking for critical information in your files, get Conquering Cases today and get your case load under control.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Great Guide to Using OneNote for Investigations By Paul Smith I've been a fan of OneNote since Microsoft released it in the early 2000s. I began using it in my law enforcement career to take and sync notes across devices, but I wasn't sure how to take it to the next level and make it my primary tool for investigations. Through this guide, as well as other workbooks available from the same author, I feel like I can finally get my cases under control. Being the sole investigator for a small department leaves me short handed for resources, but this book and the workbooks are affordable and worth the money.

They land in Rapunzel, where they climb her beautiful hair. Unfortunately Jonah climbed up her hair in his new soccer cleats and rips her hair. Abby decides to cut it and she thinks she did it really well but BOY is she wrong. This book is really good and made me feel happy. I'm teling you, once you start you can't stop. Suitable for 6+.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. whatever after #5 By June Kim i really liked the first four whatever after books but this one was outstanding!! this book has just enough ups and downs to keep readers uncertain of what will next. and i coul really feel how abby felt when her brother, wasn't listening to her. i give this book a giant thumbs up!

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. {review} By Zapkode Marie {My Thoughts} – This book starts out with Abby having a difficult time accepting that she hadn’t won first place in her schools spelling bee. Jonah decides that he is going to try and cheer her up by proposing they travel through the mirror at midnight. She says no and he says yes. Eventually midnight rolls around and he wakes her up and more or less tricks him into joining him. Only this time it isn’t just them that travel through the mirror. It is also their dog Prince. In this story they end up in Rapunzel’s fairy tale and while there of course they mess everything up. They also help to make things better at the same time. I think that the changes they make while in these fairy tales are some of the most original changes that I have seen done to some of these tales.I have grown to love Abby and her blunt tell it like it is attitude although in the first few books: she truly annoyed me. I have also come to love Jonah more and more for his innocence. Which you get to see time and time again while you read these tales.Life isn’t always easy and these books show you that, that is okay. That you can make good come out of bad. That all you have to do is put some thought towards the dilemma that you are facing and that things can change for the better and not always stay bad. These books are all about showing you that out of a bad situation can come a good outcome and that is one of the things that I love most about this series.I can’t wait to start the next book in the series and I have come to understand why my daughter loves it so much. This was one of the series that she had wanted for Christmas last year, and although she get it way after the fact she has already devoured all the currently published books and I understand why. They are entertaining. They are amusing. They are different. They help to teach you things without you realizing it.I highly recommend these books for anyone that loves fairy tales. I also think that anyone that may be interested in seeing a different outcome to the tales that has already been shared, will enjoy them. They are well worth the time to read and I believe that nearly anyone can fall in love with them.

Show Me Happy, by Kathryn Madeline Allen

From School Library Journal PreS-Gr 1—A new offering from the creators of A Kiss Means I Love You (Albert Whitman, 2012) that is as charming as its predecessor. The large, attractive photographs of children are teamed with simple text to depict actions and emotions. Each page features the same textual formula "Show me…." One photograph features a girl interacting with a toy lawn mower for "Show me pushing," which is followed by "Show me pulling" and a photograph of a different girl pulling a younger boy in a bright wagon. The work displays opposites, emotions, and everyday activities with which young children will relate and identify. The text and images are clear and uncluttered. Young readers may feel inspired to act along with the pictures. VERDICT A fine addition to most picture book collections.—Laura Hunter, Mount Laurel Library, NJ

Review "The gentle, swaying rhythm of the text makes it fun to read aloud, with clever, unforced rhymes that won't trip the tongue." Booklist, May 1, 2015"A sweetness in the images and the text elevates the book from sheer simplicity to usefulness in providing behavioral role models. The use of near-rhymes is a welcome relief from texts that sacrifice meaning for exact rhyme." Kirkus Reviews, December 15, 2104"The large photographs clearly communicate concepts like up and down, and actions like 'pushing' and pulling, creating many opportunities for adult-child discussions while reading." Publishers Weekly, February 23, 2015"The text and images are clear and uncluttered. Young readers may feel inspired to act along with the pictures. A fine addition to most picture book collections." School Library Journal, February 1, 2015

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Must have By J.Prather Kathryn Allen has delivered yet another excellent book for toddlers. The big vibrant photos reveal a diverse collection of children engaging in a variety of activities. The photos cleanly illustrate the text, leaving little doubt about the concepts described. The text flows well, with a nice rhythm that marks this as an excellent choice for toddler story time. The book begins with a smiling face along with a text that states "Show me happy", We then go through pairs of up/down, holding/giving, hiding/found, pushing/pulling, noisy/quiet, little/big, and one/ten. This type of book is usually found in a board book format, so it's great to see these beautiful photographs in a full sized picture book. Show Me Happy is a must have for any toddler story time collection or any child with an interest in what other kids are up to. And that's pretty much all of them.

By Nick Adorable book that my two year old son and I absolutely love reading together. Excellent content all-around - author uses great action words with clever rhyming and diverse photography throughout the entire book. I knew it was a great book as soon as we finished reading it, he shouted "I LOVE IT!!!"

I decided to order it after we checked it out of the library and she wouldn't stop asking for it. The only problem is the library version was much longer and some of the pictures are different! Wish I would have known that when making my purchase!

By ScotFlower I bought this book as a first introduction to life cycles for my son and I expect to use it as part of my homeschool curriculum for age 2-3. Right now he is just a baby, so we will just look at the pictures and names of the animals, but later on we will read the text.Cons: It does not include any placental mammals like a cat having kittens nor any reptiles like turtles laying eggs in the sand. But the book included two types of birds which was overly redundant. It did include two types of fish as well but they were different enough to warrant inclusion. There also are no plant life cycles just animals. I think one on a sunflower for example would have been more than appropriate. Minor issues are that the book writes sea horse as two words instead of "seahorse" that is used in the USA. Plus, vocab is supposed to be in bold, but sometimes is unbolded if rest of text in bold. I would prefer consistency in bold vocab words.Pros: Good first intro to life cycles. Includes more info than I expected it to for each life cycle. Everything is demonstrated in real photos. Does show a lot of different life cycles in a very short compact book including: frog, butterfly, penguin, seahorse, shark, chicken, and kangaroo. I love that its all in one book so I don't have to buy multiple books to cover the same breath of material. Larger easy to read text and text extremely age appropriate. New vocab words are in bold or un-bolded to contrast to the rest of the text. Hardcover for durability. Includes contents, glossary, and index so can show kids how to find info for themselves.Overall its a pre-school through kindergaten book to introduce life cycles. Just be sure to supplement with where human babies or kittens come from as well as a reptile like sea turtles and plants like a sunflower.

By LAWonder10 Very bright, colorfully detailed illustrations of the creation and evolution of insects, fish and animals, makes this a perfect nature book for the very young child! This would be perfect for educators or for a Summer Reading Program. The Book was effectively designed by Andrew Crowson with high quality paper and Photos. It begins with an explanation of what a cycle is then covers the life cycles of frogs, butterflies, Penguins, Sea Horses, Sharks, Chickens, and Kangaroos, complete with a glossary at the end.The reader needs to be aware of the numbered cycles and read the book accordingly. The only problem I have is some items are not numbered so the reader may read points out of order. My review of this books gives a Five Stars rating.*I was sent this book in exchange for an honest review, of which I have given.

Hand them a book about animals or nature and they are happy as clams in the sea.My Little Book of Life Cycles was no different—my kids loved it. I like how each life cycle is given several pages and lots of photos and facts. Often, these types of books will only give a page or two to each animal, but this has six or more pages for each one. I also like the way the facts are kept simple, yet cover the entire life cycle.I would highly recommend this book if your kids like animals, science, or nature. It's a great way to learn about several different types of animals and the way they develop, grow, and live.

From School Library Journal Gr 3 Up—A comprehensive first cookbook for novices. Step-by-step instructions easily spell out how to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as how to prepare vegetables, snacks, and desserts. Standard favorites, such as pancakes, biscuits, apple crisp, pasta, and vanilla pudding, are just a few of the varied range of fare presented. This work features cheerful photos of young people creating foods that kids love to eat. The use of healthy ingredients adds further to the appeal. Colorful stickers and decorative recipe cards are another bonus. VERDICT Though there are plenty of cookbooks aimed at the younger set, this is a worthy addition to the profusion of similar titles.—Kathryn Diman, Bass Harbor Memorial Library, Bernard, ME

Review Gold Winner: 2015 National Parenting Publication Award Silver Winner: 2015 Parents' Choice Award "Of all the kids' cooking books that have crossed my threshold over the years, this is the one that seems to have struck gold. I usually hand kids' cookbooks to my daughter (she's 9 now) for a first opinion before looking at them myself; this one I never got back. Cooking Class, written by family-magazine editor and kids'-cooking specialist Deanna Cook, seems to know how to talk directly to kids (or at least bookish kids who are seriously motivated to feed themselves) with minimal interference from parents. Part of the appeal is that it's such an intensely visual book, full of colorful pages, punchy graphics and clear instructions. It's got peel-off labels for your homemade dressings (because even a kid independent enough to cook for herself is still a kid, and hence not immune to the charm of stickers). It's got pictures of other kids cooking by themselves. And now, our copy's got stains and sticky spots — sure signs of devotion no matter what the cook's age." — T. Susan Chang, NPR “An appealing blend of fun techniques (flowers made of fruit, anyone?) and practical recipes (omelets, apple crisp) make former FamilyFun editor Deanna F. Cook’s new book, Cooking Class, a must-have for any budding chef. The recipe variations and open-ended projects let kids take their culinary creativity to the next level.” — FamilyFun "There comes a time, kids, when you've got to expand your kitchen repertoire beyond mac 'n cheese, hot dogs, and PB&J. French Toast on a Stick, Quiche Cupcakes, Tiny Tomato Toast, and Lettuce Roll-Ups are so much more interesting and healthy, especially when you've made them all by yourself. By Anne from Baltimore A few years ago, I searched for a kids' cookbook that I could love and that my kids could enjoy and follow easily. I was so surprised by the variety of cookbooks and the poorly written directions they included. In particular, I remember looking at Paula Deen's cookbook for children. The small print, light type, and colored background... I wanted a better cookbook for my kids! For me, cookbooks are inspiring (even if I almost never follow a recipe exactly)! I ended up finding one that I loved-- Kids Cook!, a Williamson Kids Can book that is now back in print. But, there are no photographs in the cookbook. My kids love color and they are not drawn to that cookbook. On the other hand, a new cookbook arrived at our doorstep last week and my kids hovered over it--drinking in the recipes, excited to cook! That cookbook is Cooking Class by Deanna F. Cook. A few years ago, Storey published two cookbooks for kids about sewing that I like: Sewing School and Sewing School 2. With this cookbook for kids, Storey followed the same format and editing style--which I loved back then and love again with this new cookbook.Cooking Class is divided into seven sections that cover the basics, meals, snacks, and of course--dessert! The Basics section is what I have found lacking in most kids' cookbooks, but in this one, it is done well. Good tips, good pictures, and even a page on how to clean up! I like that they added two pages on how to fold a fancy napkins and setting the table. I have a feeling that our next holiday meal will have some beautifully folded napkins! From there, the recipe sections begin. The recipes are divided into 1, 2, or 3 spoons. 1 spoon recipes can be made by kids themselves. 2 spoon recipes might need an older sibling or parent's help. 3 spoon recipes use sharp knives and the oven/stove, so an adult is most likely needed for kids under 10 or 11. My daughters are 9 and 11 and are uncomfortable with the oven and can turn on the gas stove, but usually prefer me to do that. The recipes are easy to follow and have great pictures which give clear instructions. The reading level (because of the size of the type) is probably 3rd grade and above. I know that my first grade son can read most of the words in these directions, but the size of the type would be a stumbling block for him.Our first recipe we tried from the cookbook was the grab and go granola bars. I was a little skeptical about how my kids would like them since they aren't baked, but my whole family ended up loving them! I think next time, though, I am going to try and mix the chocolate chips into the mixture and then press into the pan so that the chocolate chips are mixed throughout the bars and aren't just on top.I suspect that within a few months every recipe in this cookbook will have been tried by my kids!Aside from the recipes, the cookbook includes some fun stickers, place cards, and conversation questions for the dinner table. These are of high quality and my kids have enjoyed them all.I think you get the idea... when choosing a great kids' cookbook, this one tops my list! (and has been added to my list of favorite cookbooks.)Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this cookbook for review from Storey publishing.

It's well and good to teach one on one familiar dishes; I think kids need to learn how to cook WITHOUT a recipe all the time, but they also need to learn how to cook from a recipe as well. One of my daughters just turned 13 yesterday and is passionate about learning to cook. This book works great for her as well as my younger daughter. It covers beginning cooking instructions, breakfast, lunch, snacks, veggies, dinner and dessert. From the supper simple such as how to hard boil an egg or mix and match sandwich shop or dipped strawberries to the more complicated such as crepes, spring rolls or meringue nests, there is something for every level of expertise in your little ones. I love that they can start simple and work their way to harder recipes all in one cookbook. The photography is colorful and very informative. Step-by-step photos are included for many of the recipes helping the child follow the recipe even better. My older daughter just fell in love with California sushi rolls, so is thrilled to have the instructions to make her own!I highly recommend this cookbook to families with kids. Even if they don't have a desire to learn to cook at the moment, this colorful, fun book just might be the inspiration they need!I received a copy of this book from Storey Publishing for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Born in Persia more than a thousand years ago, Ibn Sina was one of the greatest thinkers of his time — a philosopher, scientist and physician who made significant discoveries, especially in the field of medicine, and wrote more than one hundred books. As a child, Ibn Sina was extremely bright, a voracious reader who loved to learn and was fortunate to have the best teachers. He memorized the Qur’an by the age of ten and completed his medical studies at sixteen. He spent his life traveling, treating the sick, seeking knowledge through research, and writing about his discoveries. He came up with new theories in the fields of physics, chemistry, astronomy and education. His most famous work is The Canon of Medicine, a collection of books that were used for teaching in universities across the Islamic world and Europe for centuries. Ibn Sina’s story, told in the first person and beautifully illustrated, provides a fascinating glimpse into the life of one of the great intellects of the past.

The Amazing Discoveries of Ibn Sina, by Fatima Sharafeddine

From School Library Journal Gr 2–4—This picture book tells the story of Ibn Sina, who compiled The Canon of Medicine, an encyclopedia of medicine that was used in the Islamic world and Europe up until the 18th century. An influential thinker, Ibn Sina came up with many ideas taken for granted today, such as that learning begins at birth and that contaminated water can spread disease. He was born in Persia in 980, and this story starts with his childhood, emphasizing his passion for literature and medicine. Even before turning 18, Ibn Sina succeeded where the best doctors failed, curing Sultan Nuh ibn Mansour al-Samani. As a reward, he was invited to stay at the sultan's palace and given access to the library. As the political landscape changed, Ibn Sina traveled often, helping many sick people and learning from the experiences. Enchanting illustrations convey the man's experiences. Educators may enjoy having the opportunity to introduce a lesser-known historical figure to kids. However, the text is less than stellar. Told in the first person from Ibn Sina's point of view, the narrative is on the wordy side and tends toward the didactic, covering somewhat complex concepts with which few students are likely to be familiar. VERDICT Because of the dearth of titles on this historical figure, this is a suitable addition for collections looking to diversify their biography collections, but it likely won't resonate with readers.—Robin Sofge, Prince William Public Library System, VA

Review "A universal celebration of curiosity and the unrelenting pursuit of knowledge." — Brain Pickings"Readers will learn much about his contributions to the fields of philosophy, education, and medicine." — Publishers Weekly"The personal telling adds immediacy to this fascinating story. . . . Highly recommended." — CM MagazinePraise for The Amazing Travels of Ibn Battuta: “The illustrations, done in a style reminiscent of Persian miniatures, feature large-eyed figures in period dress and evocative glimpses of grand architecture.” — Kirkus Reviews

To Dense and Dry for Children By Nettie Atkisson I wanted to find a book to teach my children more about the amazing accomplishments of Muslim scholars between 700-1492 period after visiting Spain and seeing the Alhambra. This was too thick with info, and too dry to maintain the interest of even me. Dang. I will have to keep looking as this is an important topic.

A good son gifted with intelligence and good will brings important medical discoveries for his generation and 100 more ahead By Star of India I got this book from the library shelves and after reading it I am ready to buy a few copies to give away to concerned parents w children. It's a book with beautiful and unusual illustrations and the child should be guided and read to while admiring the illustrations. The first time one should read along w the child and see what part interests him/her and relate it to his/her own personal experience or ask some relevant questions. A well thought, well written and provocative book for all times. This is why it's important to read it first (I always do) before sharing it w your child. It may have, perhaps, more information your child is willing or ready to understand so feel free to skip it or modify it but be aware to pass on to your child the basic values, I.e. The importance and worthiness of the pursuit of knowledge and truth in studies. The joy and satisfaction of sharing and helping others and the awareness of what seems bad luck or set backs can become ones fortune if one uses the situation in a positive attitude. Despite having to move many times involuntarily he used travel and new experiences as gifts which allowed him to travel and discover new things. He was a child like any other, loved his parents and his love for learning helped him at a young age to make enormous medical discoveries that helped so many others in his time. Maybe the help of a pet parrot for our hero can help the little ones stay more focus following Ibn Sin more closely in his travels...this could be useful for the grown ups to add and interweave the story of an imaginary pet to make it more interesting...a good book for children and parents to read and enjoy but parents must give themselves the patient to read it and enjoy it first and be prepared to spend quality time to read it and enjoy it along with the child. A good and beautiful book.

Big Nate: Say Good-bye to Dork City, by Lincoln Peirce

From School Library Journal Gr 4–6—Heads up—Big Nate's hockey puck and paper airplanes coming though! Big Nate continues his wily evasion of homework and navigations of middle school social scenes in this latest addition to the series. In the tradition of classic funny strips, a thin thread of a plot with some gags in the middle are communicated via four to eight panels, each with a small resolution. This volume has Nate working to join Marcus's cool kid group, which results in running lots of errands for the big kids and rejecting old friends until he learns his lesson. Big Nate walks a fine line between tired tropes and alternative representations: there's everything from a single dad to an assertive (and therefore abhorrent) fat girl who wants to date Nate against his will. The line drawings are generally clear and effective, but the choice to depict Ms. Clarke's brown skin with stripes all over her face is odd. Peirce's representations of Spitsy the deranged dog are laugh-out-loud funny. Though it stands alone just fine, it's the rabid Big Nate fans who will clamor for this one. VERDICT Another "Big Nate" comic that readers—reluctant and voracious alike—will whisk off the shelf.—Lisa Nowlain, Darien Library, CT

About the Author  Lincoln Peirce has been drawing the Big Nate comic strip for more than 20 years. Born in Ames, Iowa, Peirce grew up in Durham, New Hampshire. As a kid, he began creating his own strips in the sixth grade. Peirce taught high school in New York City and has created several animated pilots for Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. He lives in Portland, Maine, with his family.

By Wayne A McCoy 'Big Nate: Say Good-bye to Dork City' is a big full-color, full-of-fun collection that's great for younger readers and people who like to laugh. This time around, Nate finds himself in the cool kid's posse, but he might not survive it. He tries to convince his dad to buy the big school photo package so he has lots of wallet-size pictures to give the girls. He survives a Halloween where his dad wants to give out healthy treats. He writes haikus about Brazil nuts, and convinces his friends to join him in detention. His nemesis Mrs. Godfrey becomes principal for a week. These are just a few of the adventures and misadventures Nate finds himself in this time around.Lincoln Peirce writes a great comic strip. I've read a couple of these collections, and they're just a lot of fun. If you've got a kid who doesn't like to read, you might try handing them some Big Nate and see what happens.I received a review copy of this graphic novel from Andrews McMeel Publishing and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this graphic novel.

The main character Nate is pictured within many scenarios. He is at home in a conversation with family, at school with teachers, principal, and friends, playing sports like soccer, trick or treating with friends, and even more. The situations are typical events in a life of a young person but Lincoln Peirce has found a way to bring humor into each one.One funny story takes place on the evening of Nate and his friends trick or treating. His friends are teasing him about his rabbit costume, but Nate insists his costume has "benefits". So what are the benefits? Well, some girls come along who love Nate's soft rabbit costume and proceed to give him hugs. Nate just smiles at his friends enjoying his "benefits".Nate has a sense of humor which can sometimes get him into trouble. Nate also has a way of inserting the right comments at the correct time in a situation too. Each strip was interesting to read and I think you will enjoy it also.*I received this for review - all opinions are my own*

29 of 30 people found the following review helpful. A good start for new users of Windows 10 By Russell Fanelli Michael Miller calls his book My Windows 10 Computer for Seniors, but that title is not accurate; this book is useful for anyone not familiar with Windows 10 who wants a systematic treatment of this new operating system. Additionally, Miller gives us plenty of information about the various computers that use Windows 10.What separates Miller’s book from the host of competitors in the marketplace is his useful DVD that comes packaged at the end of the book. Miller is our instructor on the DVD; he is a competent teacher who moves forward at just the right pace, at least for me. Of course, we can stop the video at any point as we put into practice what we have learned. The DVD moves forward more rapidly than the book. Those people who want more information on any topic after studying and applying the video, can turn to the book for extra help. The pictures in the book are similar to what is given to us on the DVD; they match what we see as we work with Windows 10 on our own computer.I own and use four computers – two with Windows 7, one with Windows 8.1, and my new Toshiba laptop with Windows 10 factory installed as the operating system. I mention this for readers of this review who are wondering whether to upgrade to Windows 10 and my answer is YES, particularly if you like Windows 7 or are not happy with Windows 8.1. I’m guessing that most of my readers are familiar with Windows 7 and you folks are not going to have much problem adapting to Windows 10. This new operating system is user friendly, unlike Windows 8.1For those who like a touch screen interface, Windows 10 will accommodate you; but it will also work nicely with touch pad and mouse. I find using both touch screen and mouse works well for me.My Windows 10 is not the be all and end all for learning about this new operating system, but it is a good start. Everything you need to know to get up and running is included and the DVD makes learning simple and easy. This is the third Windows 10 book I have reviewed and it is the one I like best.

I have been a senior for a long time and my memory is shaky at best. However, I have been using Windows 10 for fairly simple tasks and now I can go full out. The book is easy to read with a decent font size. Every subject one can imagine is covered and understandable. There is even a DVD provided so if you want to watch for a while instead of reading then you can do so. This is a really great book.

From the creators of the bestselling There Was an Old Monkey Who Swallowed a Frog comes a silly, “out of this world” rendition of the popular “Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly” song.

Join the old Martian as he swallows the moon, a comet, a rover, and more! Then he blasts off in his spaceship—beep, beep, ZOOM! Zany illustrations show the alien’s belly growing and growing as he eats his way through the galaxy. But what happens when the Martian gets to the sun? Jennifer Ward’s silly text and Steve Gray’s lively artwork take readers “out of this world” in this fun adaptation of the popular song.

I thought it was hilarious; kids will likely bust a gut. The pictures are bright and funny; a perfect complement to the rhyming story. The ending was quite a surprise. :-) Highly recommended. If you enjoy it, I would just buy it in print. (This is why I love KindleUnlimited. You can try before you buy and, as long as you read at least 10% of the book, the author gets a royalty. A win-win.)

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. There Was an Old Martian Who Swallowed the Moon by Jennifer Ward By Louise Donovan This was a silly book, but something kids would really enjoy. I loved the illustrations! Quite imaginative and not what you usually see for a kids book. I also really liked the ending, 'take me to your reader'!!!
