From the first pitch to game over, you will be captivated by the detailed descriptions of each specific baseball player's position. Douglas Florian has a talent for combining his artwork and his descriptive poems to make this a must read for children of all ages. You will definitely have time to read this book while enjoying your hot dogs during the 7th inning stretch.

The drawings and poems remind me of being a kid and first falling in love with America's pastime...baseball. Its a grand slam of fun poems that is a classic of appreciation for the great sport of baseball.
