It is a story with rich characterization, pitting characters one will love (or hate) against compelling problems--or possibly masterminding them. The "suspension of disbelief" required as a toll to enter any sci-fi universe is remarkably small for readers of the Trevel mythos: this *could be* our world. While the book would benefit from another pass by a keen editor, the minor flaws do not create a barrier to understanding and thoroughly enjoying the robust story.

Glick A very intriguing read that makes you think seriously about your own life and how to stay on the path you want. It's something you can continually think back to, turning over the decisions facing each character and the choices they made, and using that to choose where you want to go. The struggle between heart and mind will forever exist and this book helped me accept that and use it to make better decisions for myself.

Shocking Ending By Coffee Addicted Writer (Billy) When Jessica and her best friend, Ryan, are at Horrorland, they buy a two- headed coin at the Chiller's gift shop. Then, while walking home through school they take a short cut through a field. They flip the coin and enter into a medieval world.Jessica and Ryan encounter a blacksmith, angry guards and a headless Prince. Can they escape the horror?The fifteenth entry in the Horrorland series reminds me of one of my favorite Goosebumps: A Night in Terror Tower. The plot in Head, You Lose! is very lose, containing mainly of chase scenes in the medieval world. The book is still fun, with a shocking ending.

Her attention to detail and realistic dialogue make this a book to add to your reading list. You'll want to keep turning the pages. I highly recommend it!

Smart, Funny and Sexy By Kindle Customer The story is sweet and funny (some dialogues will make you laugh!) and romantic too but well adapted to our modern days. Easy to read and always making you want to know what is coming next!I fell in love with Isabel and Tarek. They are both living in a sort of too shallow and fast world for them but they find their way to adapt because they have brains and use them. The only struggle I see is that they both know what they want and the many possibilities that comes with that realization of knowing plus the logical thinking -being so aware of reality- a mix that makes it all a little more complicated but trust me: super fun for the reader! How everything develops between them is cute and I loved how the author achieved to make it sexy too without recurring to the bad taste of many other love-romance authors out there.The rest of the characters and their personalities are very interesting as well. There was some sort of mystery left hanging in relation to the personal lives of Isabel and Tarek before they’ve known each other that I hope gets revealed in the next books.I read the e-version but I couldn’t help getting the real physical one after. I love books and I have lost my faith on modern romance ones, this book returned it to me. You will not only read about a love relationship, you will also read smart conversations that will make you smile, laugh and learn.I hope you get to enjoy it as much as I did!

The Dragon's Disguise Volume 1 By Crystal My four year old son, Raine loves books.I got him The Dragon's Disguise books to read, and he fell in love with the first one.The story is imaginative and fun.We both love the vivid colors and illustrations.At the end of the book there are questions to engage your child even further.He sat on my lap as I read the whole book and answered the questions at the end.He and I both highly recommend The Dragon's Disguise.I received this product in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Promotes a child's active imagination By M.R. This is a very cute series of books. It reminds me a tad of Harold and the Purple Crayon. I have a 5 and a 7 year-old, so we have read this book two times already. Although both are advanced readers for their age, I did find that the book was better read to the 5 year-old so she could follow some of the larger words while looking at the pictures, rather than having her try to read some words which are beyond her years. The 7 year-old had no problem reading the larger words, though she became a tad tongue tied on some of the British vernacular. The rhyming sentences are age appropriate and provide a nice flow and the illustrations are wonderful. I particularly like that there are questions at the end of the books for you to discuss with your child and get their imagination going. The book is actually quite long for a children’s picture book, so you could make this a 2 night adventure if being read at bedtime.In volume 1, you are introduced to Oscar and you begin to learn about storms. Here, young Oscar believes there to be a dragon in his house – imagining the house being set ablaze by the dragon. In actuality, it is a horrendous thunderstorm. Although you learn about light being faster than sound, hence the lightening before the thunder, the facts are tossed in the rhymes without being boring or tedious for any gender or age of child. Right up my kids alley.I received this book series for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I would definitely recommend to friends.

Meet Oscar and Norm in Volume 1 By KJB46 I love everything about this series of books and I'm betting your kids will too!Each book is nicely sized at 8 1/2" by 8 1/2" which makes it easy for little hands to hold onto to and easy for them to turn the pages. Each book is fully illustrated with each picture covering a full two pages and very brightly colored. The stories are told in verse form that rhymes very well. After reading the story there are a few questions on the back cover that you can ask your child to further improve his understanding of the story and the effects of thunder and lightening.Book 1 is The Dragon's Disguise and seems to be intended to teach children about the effects of lightning and thunder. When Oscar sees the flash of light from the lightning, he thinks it's a dragon breathing fire. And when he hears the clap of the thunder, he thinks it's the dragon groaning. This sets his imagination into full swing and as he runs for the safety of his house he imagines that he can hear the dragon coming for him. His parents explain what thunder and lightening really are and Oscar realizes that there really was no dragon in his yard.....Or was there?I purchased this item at a discount in return for an honest and unbiased review
