It is clear, concise, and to the point. My need was to clearly understand the use of a micro SDXC card. This guide addressed the issue in depth, and I learned that the utility of micro memory was much more versitile than I hoped. Also, the installation instructions were very clear and concise. I strongly recommend this guide for new HD 8-10 owners. My HD 8 arrives tomorrow, anb, now, I know exactly what to do.
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Very helpful for Kindle Fire HD users! By CCH I have learned lots of tips and tricks about my Kindle Fire HD 8 just from reading this book. Although, I am only half way through it at this time, it offers many detailed instructions and tips not thoroughly explained in the User Guide that comes on this device. Btw, I printed it so I can highlight and tab the pages there were useful to me. The author did a great job, and this book is very well written.

However this book did not cover how to customize and delete/hide items that come with the fire tablet. For those few of us that don't want to have calculator (for example) on the home page, there is no information on how to delete them. The book could have been a bit more comprehensive in that way. Overall a good quick informative book on the basics. Thank you.
