The Delightfully Spooky Adventures of Lizzy and Daniel By Sarah Mazor It's been a while since I was sucked in to a ghost story written for children, but I am completely taken with Charlotte Bloomfield's "Corridor of Doors". Tagging along for the adventures of Lizzy and her friend Daniel in the world of ghosts and spirits is delightful. The author's fabulous imagination takes us along on a ride that is full of surprising twists and turns as we are introduced to fantastic characters, spooky, creepy, good, and not so good, but ever entertaining. Kids are sure to enjoy this wonderful adventure and so will their parents. Highly recommended!

It certainly transforms hers, but not in the way she was expecting, as she soon discovers the hotel is haunted. Together with Daniel, a boy she befriends via an old mirror, Lizzie embarks on an amazing adventure. The children venture into the corridor of doors, discovering that there are some rather unpleasant things lurking out there in the unknown - the dark kingdom, the creeper and the soul collector, not to mention his nasty veinlings! Will the two friends ever find their way back home again? This is a spooky tale which never gets too scary, so is perfect for those of a nervous disposition who are looking for some excitement without it giving them nightmares!

A magic mirror puts her in touch with Daniel and together they embark on a series of adventures, fighting baddies including the Soul Collector who preys on the dead. If your child has never read a ghost story before, start with this one. It will scare him/her but not too much.
