About the Author Dr. Michael Tobet lives in Fairfield County, Connecticut. He has always had an interest in the field of marine biology and dolphins since attaining his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Upon hearing and reading about the pink dolphins of Asia, Dr. Tobet traveled to Hong Kong to visit the dolphins in their natural habitat and interview researchers there. Witnessing the beautifully bright pink dolphins of Hong Kong and the challenges they are facing inspired Dr. Tobet to help save the endangered pink dolphins of the world and make these unique animals the symbols for global environmental change. It is his hope that this book will educate and inspire children and, in turn, their parents to take action to help save the pink dolphins of the world, which will also help to save ourselves in the process.

Teachers and Parents - A Wonderful Book For Kids of All Ages By anonymous This book is one of those rare ones that will hold the interest of a wide range of young people - primary grades through middle school. Actually, as a long-time elementary teacher who has taught many units on animals, I was not previously familiar with the pink animals depicted in the book. I learned a lot! The engaging illustrations add to the informative text, which also encourages the protection and conservation of our environment.

Dr. TOBET introduces us to the PINK DOLPHIN.At first , I thought pink Dolphins were a fantasy but it soon became apparent that this magnificent creature truly exists. Dr. TOBET has made an important contribution to our earth by inviting parents and teachers to instruct our children of their environmental responsibilities to care for our planet and most especially the EXQUSITE PINK DOLOHIN.
