Good Health Advice for Anyone By John Wesley Smith The Gluten Free girls, as authors Kathy and Ros call themselves, are both knowledgeable and passionate. I believe you'll appreciate their encouraging way of dealing with what could be a difficult and intimidating topic. They met as a result of their mutual interest in nutrition and its role in digestive issues. Both of them had similar digestive issues and had a belief that what we eat is critical to good health.Their guide starts by saying that something you're eating is killing you. That sounds like sensationalism, but they maintain that wheat and the gluten found in it, and in a few other grains, is killing us slowly and silently. It's causing all kinds of health problems you wouldn't normally expect. Many of us already know processed foods aren't as healthful as claimed. In fact, many foods we've been told are good for us are really not so healthful either.Also, you might be gluten sensitive and not realize it. Sensitivity to gluten isn't the same as having Celiac disease. Only a small percentage of the population has to deal with that. It's the volume of grain we consume which causes us problems. Ros and Kathy encourage us to eat less grains than what we do. Your kitchen contains all kinds of things that contain gluten, and you may not know it.There's a super easy way to find out if you're gluten sensitive. Start by simply taking the 14 day challenge. I know personally almost all the woman I know suffer with their freakin weight!If you are sick (literally) from fad diets and a waste of time and money like me, then you must read this book. These two women Ros Andrews, Kathy Strahan have opened my eyes.I have tried every diet in the world only to lose and gain back more.Then i thought what the heck i might as well try it.I got my socks blown off will the real truth, I found in this book.I have been cutting out the gluten and the first thing i noticed in the first week was the bloating had gone and my energy level came way up.So far after just a couple of weeks i have dropped 10 lbs.I will not complain! Because this is a way of life, not a fad diet!The way they give you ideas for your meals is NOT a DIET for sure, but delicious meals anyone will love!This is not about will power, but empowering yourself with information and then you are able to make better and healthier choices which you will find in this book...Good luck!

I don't suffer from any of the problems and still found it interesting and very easy to read By tennisplayer A must read book for those suffering from problems arising from gluten in their diet... even those who are just gluten sensitive will find it informative... I don't suffer from any of the problems and still found it interesting and very easy to read. The information was clear and didn't get "bogged down".
