2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. and screaming like a little baby By DiapersandDaydreams Patrick Elephant, just a little boy elephant, has just finished telling us how he wants to be big and strong and unafraid when the doorbell rings. Cornelius is a clever little mouse who has donned a disguise as a Cheese Inspector to slip his way into the Elephant household. This teeny, tiny mouse at the door sends Daddy Elephant flying up on the couch in seconds, and screaming like a little baby! Cornelius head straight to their fridge to “check the cheese” and after a few delicious bites, realizes he has hit the big time! He calls in backup to help him get away with all the cheese in the home. In come hundreds of bandit / robber mice, higher up on the couch goes frightened Daddy Elephant, and out the door goes the fridge. Patrick tries to be brave and stop the mice from taking off with the phone, the toys and even the even the couch his Dad is standing on, but it is too late and he is no match. Will anyone be able to send these robbers packing?!This book by author Tim Warnes is written perfectly, a fun and fast read that the whole family will love. The characters are drawn with lots of color, energy and great expressions. The character bubbles add a fun and playful element, and the animated feel on top of the great storyline would make this book a great cartoon.
