The large format, with plenty of white space, gives the book an uncrowded look that draws in readers. By A Customer Packed full of outstanding historical photos and wonderfully written text this fascinating biography clearly illlustrates the life of one of the greatest inventors in America - a man who was always searching for ways to help his fellow men. A wonderful addition to any library.
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Excellent information By rpv Alexander Bell - the name that is so synonymous with telephone. His life captured in photographs. Apparently Bell was so particular he documented and there are thousands of manuscripts in Library of Congress. He also took lot of photographs. The book's introduction is written by Bell's great grand son who was the chairman of National Geographic society. Very high achievers in his family! Bell was born in Scotland, moved to Ontario, then to Boston, Nova Scotia... Interesting times, pictures, notes. Excellent book!
